It’s been a few Summers since I made these burp cloths for a friend’s baby shower.
These were so much fun to make, I decided to do this again for another friend of mine who’s have a BOY!
When I bought this Denim Dress I knew immediately that it wouldn’t take much to refashion it into a jacket. I think Jean Jackets are quite versatile and they seem to be a timeless staple to any wardrobe.
The zipper is completely broken. It’s not jammed or stuck. It’s just broken so I felt no guilt whatsoever when I cut the material at the waist (through the zipper and all)…
I bought this shirt brand spankin’ new at DressBarn. *Gasp
I really liked it… but after a while the sleeves began to annoy me. They were at a really awkward length. They were too loose-fitting to pull them up past my elbows, and if I undid the buttons they hit the middle of my forearm… I don’t know. They just bugged me. So I decided to simply shorten them.
“Not ANOTHER pillow, Laura! For the love of all that’s holy!”
If it’s any consolation, these are a bit more “advanced,” technically speaking.
These pillows that came with our sofas are just blah. We’ve been updating our color scheme to include, drum roll please, blue. Never thought I’d live to see the day I’d decorate with blue as it’s my least favorite color (reminds me of winter…). But guess what? Blue can also be very SUMMER inspired.
Easter is my favorite holiday. If you’ve read my blog for any length of time you know that I say that every year 🙂 SorryNotSorry to be redundant but there you have it.
I picked up this maxi dress and loved it as-is, actually. I’ve been on a maxi dress kick since last summer and I had planned to wear it just like this.
