I bought this shirt brand spankin’ new at DressBarn. *Gasp
I really liked it… but after a while the sleeves began to annoy me. They were at a really awkward length. They were too loose-fitting to pull them up past my elbows, and if I undid the buttons they hit the middle of my forearm… I don’t know. They just bugged me. So I decided to simply shorten them.
If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me, “What would I use a Sergerfor???” Well, I wouldn’t have to work full time as a sewing machine salesman 😉
The truth is, I use a Serger ALL the time. You don’t have to be a super talented seamstress (Hello! I’M using one #WorstSewistEver) to justify a Serger. In fact, I’ll illustrate this point with my refashion today:
Maybe if I didn’t have the largest hips/thighs on planet earth, I would like sweater dresses. But, until I get a new body from the waist down… I’ll have to keep making modifications when I find these at thrift stores.
