Me vs You: Faves of 2015

First of all, I just want to say thank you to all my readers and followers. As trite as it may sound, my blog would mean absolutely nothing without you. You could be doing a million and one other things of your choosing… yet you take the time to read my blog posts. I truly appreciate it 🙂

Secondly, Happy New Year!

I’ve noticed a trend amongst professional and “humble” bloggers alike: Compilation posts. Collages from my favorite bloggers are showing up in my Instagram and Pinterest feeds and I’m enamored with with their talent and creativity like it’s the first time I’ve ever seen their work. So, being the copycat that I am, I thought I would do the same.

I’d like to share with you my favorite refashions from 2015 🙂

#5.) Remnant Shrug

#4.) Boho Chic Refashion Runway 5 Challenge

#3.) Eventful Day Off Top

#2.) Living Room Curtains

#1.) Vine and Dine Inspired Blouse

That’s all fine and dandy, but guess what? YOU guys had some favorites too. Based on social media likes/comments/feedback and based on my Year in Review stats from wordpress, these were YOUR favorites of 2015.

#5.)  Memorial Day Dress

#4.)  Pink Tribute

#3.)  Refashion Runway Challenge 3: Applique Tote

#2.)  Refashion Runway Challenge 1: Asymmetric Floral Tunic

#1.)  Deco Tunic

I have to admit I’m a little floored (in a fascinated kind of way) at the difference between MY faves and your faves.

Are there any other favorites that didn’t make it to the list? Is there a particular garment you’d like to see me refashion? I’d like 2016 to include more reader participation. I hope to even be able to provide some giveaways! 🙂 So feel free to share your thoughts and opinions (ya know, the nice ones *slow wink).

Thank you again for making 2015 a year to remember! Happy New Year!

❤ Laura

  1. I enjoy your blog and want more of the same in 2016. I have to admit though, that I like how you look in that blue/gray dress above. You have worked so hard to get to that look. Flaunt your femininity.

  2. The asymmetrical floral top – I remember being blown away by the beauty of this! I do love that green top in “your” faves as well. I like so many of your refashions but these two do stand out.

    1. Wanna hear something crazy? I hated that asymmetric floral tunic so much, I threw it in the trash after sending my pics in to Beth (the renegade seamstress). True story. Perspective is a fickle little minx, isn’t it? 🙂

      1. OH NO! What was the issue? Just didn’t like it? Tired of looking at it so much? Uncomfortable in some way? Just curious, because it looks great to me 🙂 … er, looked … past tense

      2. Yes, yes, and yes! 🙂 I struggled with that thing SO much! I’m glad that didn’t translate in the pictures, tho. I was scared it would. I thought I was going to be eliminated in that first round.
