Yesterday I had a love fest with all the awesome memories of 2014. But it is a new year now and there are some goals I’d like to accomplish in 2015, blogging and personal.
I’ve found a new thrift shop that I’m completely in love with. Their red tagged items are only .10 flippin’ cents. I plan to get all my refashions from the .10 cent rack in 2015.
I am NEVER sewing with a pattern. In fact, I threw them all away. I hate ’em! Try as I may, I just can’t get them. Goodbye forever, patterns.
Hubs and I moved in to a new house back in September. I would love to broaden my sewing horizons by making all the window treatments, slip covers for furniture, remodeling the basement & master bedroom, etc. 2015 is going to be the year of Home Edition Refashions.
I’m THINKING about changing the “niche” of my blog. Since I do a lot of stuff besides refashions, I’m thinking about updating the name & concept. I would LOVE suggestions from the peanut gallery 🙂
I’m not going to limit myself to only wearing refashions. Sometimes it’s nice to wear something off the rack. I broke my goal in 2014 to do this, and I don’t want to set myself up for disappointment again, so I won’t 🙂 I’ll be doing plenty more refashions, but I’ll also be wearing Consignment shop items, and if I find a wicked sweet shirt on Black dot clearance at Carson’s I’m gonna go for it!
Whether you want to hear them or not, here they are:
My birthday present to myself this year is, at long last, an Arm Lift Surgery. I’ve waited 5 years from my last procedure with Dr. Bergman and, dangit, I’m going to wear sleeveless crap this summer!!!
My feet WILL be healed this year, so help me God.
After months of not being able to work out, I’m going to get back to my high fitness level (WHEN my feet are healed, of course) 🙂
I’m going to lose 10lbs. Then, I’m going to stop losing weight for the rest of my life because I’m going to maintain that (105lbs in total) weight loss 🙂
I’m going to be the best wife, step-mom, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, employee, friend, and person that I can be.
Cheers to you 2015. You’re going to be awesome!
