Moroccan Blouse

I’m sure my title is offending someone, somewhere but I think it appropriately describes this dress I scored for a meager .99 cents.

Dress, you say? Where is this dress?

I’m glad you asked. It’s on the hard drive of my computer that died last week. I was hoping it would rally long enough for me to finish backing everything up but, alas, it succumbed. Thankfully, I was able to save most of my pictures… Not THIS refashion’s before pic, but that’s life 🙂

Ta Da

At least I have the “after” 🙂

I didn’t have to do much to this one: It was a very long, handmade lounge dress. I shortened it and gave the bottom a rolled hem. I also polished up the massive 3″ seam allowance on the sides with my serger and took it in just a little bit, while I was at it.

No biggie 🙂

Diggin’ the print 🙂

I don’t know if you can see it very well but there are hand sewn jewels all over the print; gives it some extra pizazz. I really like this shirt… short sleeves and all 🙂

I wore it to all my family Labor Day festivities.

Boat ride on the lake followed by some R&R on my Aunt & Uncle’s wicked patio! 🙂

A most pleasant weekend with all my favorite characters 🙂
