A No Sew Life Saver

I donate plasma twice a week. I take a break every now and then to give the ol’ veins a rest, naturally. But this is something I’ve been doing since 2010. It’s good money and it saves a life so it’s a win-win situation.

I have to wear something with a loose sleeve on it so it’s easier for me to donate. I’m always cold so short sleeves are out of the question. “Doctor’s” offices are always 10 degrees colder than any other place so, I have to wear something extra warm to boot…

I saw this black sweater for .99 cents and knew it would be perfect!

The tank undershirt thingy is attached to the sweater part. I don’t understand that… I want to pick my own tank tops to go with my sweaters, thank you very much.

So, I cut it out.

I like my layering better šŸ˜‰

This sweater was loose enough in the sleeves for me to roll them up to my shoulders for plasma donatin’

17 gauge needle’s a big one…

It collects the blood, extracts the plasma, then pumps the blood back into me.

40 minutes of my morning well spent.

I really need to stop slouching…
